The air conditioning system utilising seawater for cooling, engineered to operate efficiently at designated low voltages: 12 VDC, 24 VDC, or 48 VDC, contingent upon the model, and does not necessitate a generator.

Blue-Airco operates on low-voltage direct current, this comes from the vessels domestic battery system, This unique design allows for optimal and precisely adjustable performance, ensuring a constant internal temperature within the compartment. the system features an electronic expansion valve that optimises energy efficiency in any operating condition by controlling the superheating and subcooling values of the refrigerant fluid.
One of the key features of Blue-Airco is its variable-speed high-efficiency BLDC motor in the fan section, which is electronically controlled to ensure high performance and quiet operation. The compressor starts smoothly at very low speed, thanks to torque and speed control, and accelerates to cool down or heat up the air quickly. As the air temperature approaches the desired value, the compressor and fan will slow down to maintain the air temperature close to the set point, without fluctuations.
Blue-Airco is not just a modification or enhancement of existing technology; it is a groundbreaking solution that reduces energy consumption by 50% compared to ON-OFF systems. With no start-up peak current and low power consumption, the system allows vessels without a generator to run air conditioning silently from their domestic batteries. In ECO mode, these units draw no more than 4.6 amps in 12V, ensuring peace and quiet overnight.
